It has been scientifically proven that a bumblebee cannot fly. Its wingspan is too short to carry its weight. However, when I was a kid I can attest to the fact that they can fly and they can sting because I watched as one stung me right between my eyes! Granted I did throw a stick at their nest and I tried to outrun it but that is neither here nor there. What should happen is someone, no I, should go walk right up to a scientist and give them a great big HUG. Why a hug you ask? Because a slap would be so unladylike and unprofessional plus add the fact that I could get arrested for slapping a random scientist and you get a hug instead. No seriously, have you ever been told that you cannot do something in life. You can’t start your business, lose weight, change careers, break that bad habit or whatever someone has told you that you could not do. Well…just think of the bumblebee. No one has ever told the bumblebee that its wingspan was too short to carry its weight; therefore, it continues to fly. So regardless of what the world or your friends or family has told you, God has equipped you with all you need in order to succeed. Do not let the words of others influence the outcome of your dreams. Wonder what the bumblebee would have done had someone told it of its shortcomings...would it still fly or would it crawl? I’m glad we will never know. So use the bumblebee as your example to continue down your path and walk, I mean FLY, into your destiny…be blessed! |
